I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years. This practice is amazing, and I continue to be inspired by my students in every class!
A few fun facts about me: I love dark chocolate, I have a black belt in Taekwondo, I ate sushi for the first time this past year! I cannot wait to meet you. I will see you soon on the mat! Blessings.
Lynn was a Bodypump participant for 5 years before becoming certified to teach it. Believe it or not, Lynn hated weight lifting-she thought it was boring. When she found Les Mills Bodypump, it made weightlifting in a group environment with great music so much more fun! She has been teaching Bodypump for 3 years and loves the participants and pushing them to do more than they ever thought they could. She loves getting to know her class participants and encouraging them to keep coming and eat healthy to get the best results.
Lynn’s hobbies include: walking, shopping, boating, and group exercise classes. She also enjoys traveling to Jamaica each January for a vacation out of the cold MN winter. She also participates in the Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer each year and is a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness and research.
Mary Jo Maciej
I have been teaching Fitness classes for 36 years and I’ve loved every minute of it! I am now teaching Les Mills Body Pump (and I love this class) for the past seven years and hope to continue for many more years. I truly enjoy all my students (friends) at our club
Yoga has been apart of my life for over 6 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me and reminds me to live in the present. My own journey with yoga led me to become a certified Yoga Sculpt instructor in 2017 when I completed my training through CorePower Yoga. In my classes I love to combine vinyasa flow with high intensity exercises to make the perfect yoga sculpt class.
Karla is an experienced group fitness instructor and lifelong group fitness participant. She currently teaches the MMA-inspired Core de Force classes at The Club. Karla has also taught other high-intensity and spin classes during her time as an instructor. When Karla’s not shredding it in the studio, she is a Registered Dietitian, helping people learn healthy nutrition habits to lead healthier lives.
Jennine has been practicing yoga since 1999. In 2016, she completed the 200-hour training program and is registered as an RYT200 through Yoga Alliance, the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. She enjoys teaching the hot vinyasa yoga class at The Club. Outside of her “day job,” as a product and recruiting manager, Jennine enjoys spending time with her family, biking, reading, and cooking.
I grew up in Holdingford, MN and returned to the area after I met my husband of 17 years. We have three teenage sons. Working out is my stress relief, and I love to run, bike and do body pump. I teach 8th-12th grade English, and when I am not grading papers, you will find me watching my childrens’ activities, planning the next swim season (I am the girls’ head coach), or reading. Summer is for recharging, so I spend most of it on Little Birch Lake.
I’ve been at the club for 29 years, currently teaching the aqua aerobics class. I have a candle business in my home, creating Memorial, And Wedding candles and candles for all occasions. I enjoy meeting and working with people, that’s why I enjoy working at the club, the morning crew is great to work out with. My current pastime Is dog sitting, so if your dog needs a pal for your vacation or short time away. That’s me …
I’ve been a group fitness instructor for almost 25 years. For the last 6 years, I’ve taught Zumba. I love Zumba because it really doesn’t feel like a workout. I also love seeing other people achieve their fitness goals and know that I helped.
RYT – 200, Power Yoga Certified
Alisa began her yoga journey in 2013 after buying a handful of studio passes on LivingSocial. She was looking for a change in her workout routine, and hadn’t yet found something that “fit”. She quickly discovered that a regular yoga practice was not only beneficial to her health but also reduced stress and taught her to slow down. In December 2014, she was ready to deepen her practice with instructor training at CorePower Yoga. Initially, she had no intention of actually teaching after certification, but after her first solo class, she was hooked. Shortly after, Alisa started a new job and moved back to her hometown, St. Cloud. That is where she discovered The Club. She was relieved to find a hot yoga class in the area and has been an instructor with The Club since September 2015. She has a blast every week with her students, and loves the positive energy, friendliness, and FUN that our members bring to class!
Alisa lives in St. Joe with her husband, Steve, and puppy, Hank. When she isn’t in the studio, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, traveling, watching live music, or discovering new restaurants and bars with her husband and friends.
Alisa’s favorite pose is “Pigeon” — with “Savasana” coming in at a close second!
Jami completed her 200-hour yoga study at the Yoga Loft in Willmar, Mn in October 2016 and is currently working toward her 500-hour certification. Jami’s gentle style emphasizes awareness of the breath to help students cultivate a strong sense of inner peace. In addition to yoga, Jami enjoys gardening, running, and spending as much time as possible in nature.
